Uncle Ste's Diner

Fab little place and one of the only ones open on railway road called in for breakfast and got Nutella waffles and large decaf tea. Fab portion sizes and prices can’t get a large brew for under £2 in most places now but you can here. They’ve got an amazing menu with lots to choose from and good veggie options at an affordable price point. Love the interior feels like a proper diner lovely comfy seating with plenty space and very clean. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do more to help. Would deffo be coming back!

Great full English breakfast - very tasty and well priced. The diner was clean and staff were friendly and polite. It was great that there was plenty on the menu to choose from to suit varying tastes. Very happy with my visit, so I'll definitely be back!

Make sure you bring a woolly hat and warm jacket as they won't put heating on. It was really cold inside. We had to leave without finishing our breakfast as the next table little monkey was behaving so badly. I don't blame the owners or staff for that. Only parents of that child are to blame. My sandwich was ok. My girlfriends English breakfast was average.

Called in today 22nd nov for a small breakfast and tea. The food was delicious. Nice decorated, clean cafe. I have to point out that the lady behind the counter, who took my order, with the dark hair in a bun and glasses, is an absolute credit to the place.

Called in for breakfast yesterday had to wait 50 minutes for food even tho the cafe had some empty seats and most in there were eating, had to change to take away as we ran out of time, ordered 2 small breakfasts with well done bacon and 1 had mushrooms, when we opened the trays the bacon was pink and stringy which I hate, definitely not well done and the mushrooms were mostly stems that looked awful

The hash browns were rubbery and had too much onion, the bread was very chewy, beans were fine, bacon was good, eggs were okay, mushrooms were fine. Either way definitely wouldn't be returning for more.

9 of us went for breakfast. Everyone loved their food. Very good value too. Really clean and friendly. Can recommend the mega breakfast, the omelette and the children's menu.

Not had a really nice English breakfast for ages, I had the " three of a kind" can't eat like I used to so this was very filling, very clean and modern environment, drinks are relatively cheap compared to most coffee places and tastes great (caramel latte) Would highly recommend ??

Both of our breakfasts were undercooked, all of it almost raw tbh had to throw it in the bin. Pancakes were burned, asked for honey on them and got Nutella. Wasn't that nice tbh. Shame really as the place looks nice, but looks are deceiving.

Called in for Sunday breakfast And ordered 2 Sunday lunches to take away! After 30 mins of waiting our breakfasts arrived, unfortunately I ordered poached eggs instead of the usual fried . Big mistake they where well under cooked and still raw putting us both off the breakfast. Trying to be optimistic I got home checked the Sunday lunches I ordered and to my dismay one of them was completely wrong!! Fuming is not the word !! The place closed half an hour ago!! ?????? . We will try somewhere different next week.

Amazing food, reasonably priced, friendly staff - they need to learn how to make STRONG milky coffee's though, they are always boiling hot/undrinkable for 20 minutes.

Used to come here often but haven’t for a while. Have to say the staff and food hasn’t changed but the decor has had an uplift with new tables and chairs. Very nice. Always been good value

I got a english breakfast delivered with a milkshake and fresh orange juice. it was nice and still quite warm on arrival. will be ordering again next time i have a sunday hangover.

Not been here for a few years and it's still just as good. Me and my son had a lovely cooked breakfast each with amazing service. Lovely upgrade to the seating areas also. Really comfy

I cannot praise Uncle Ste's diner enough. I started going to Ste's when my husband died and didn't know a sole. Now l have made lots of friends there. The cafe is spotless, the food is good and wholesome. Lisa. Connor, Ste and staff make sure we are all safe in this horrible time. Not forgetting the amazingly good prices.
